I should have known what I was buying

I got a call from a Cell C agent selling me a Sumsung tab 3 on a 24 month contract, I accepted the offer on the 3rd month I realised the phone does not have auto focus. I took it back to cell c they booked it for repairs.
The phone came back and I was told that how the phone was designed it does not have auto focus. I was told to take matter up with Sumsung as Cell C would not help me in this regard.

I called sumsung and was told I should have known what I was buying, my question is how can a phone have a zoom feature and at the same time I wont focus. I don't want this phone and my contract is still very new, and if I stop paying for this contract I will end up being listed on the credit bureau.

Using this phone's camera is very limiting and this irritates me a lot because I'm paying every month for something I'm not happy with.
