Faulty Samsung S4

I received my brand new Samsung S4 in June 2013. In July 2013 I was unable to download anything from Playstore. I was told by the Samsung Call Centre to take it to a Samsung service centre for a software upgrade. I did this. I took it to Nashua Mobile in Welkom and new software was installed.
After one month I had the same problem again and was told by the Samsung service centre that the phone had to be reset. Which we did today, 23 Oct. My ref no was 7111 579 041.

After the reset... I am again unable to download anything from Playstore. WhatsApp for example is only 10.94MB, but after 20 min it is still not downloaded.

I am so tired of this phone. I am seriously not seeing any reason why I should have so much difficulty with a device that is supposed to be the best on the market and that is only 4 months old.

I would appreciate it if this device can be sorted out as I would not recommend Samsung to anybody at this stage.
