My iPhone 4 has become almost non functional as a phone, since I first upgraded to IOS6.
When I make/receive a call my phone battles to hold reception and mostly loses the call after a while. If I hold the phone to my ear it makes the problem even worse. Also if the phone is in my pocket it loses reception. Often I have to reset the phone to gain reception.
I have waitied patiently for software upgrades for iOS6 and upgraded to all the software upgrades that have come out, expecting them to rectify the problem.
At this point I dont know what to do. These iPhones came out with 'rubber bands' initially as their bad reception was a manufacturing flaw, but since iOS6 it has become ridiculous. Apple is meant to be upwardly compatable.
Completely frustrated... please help
Why should I consider upgrading to a newer iPhone at my expense when this phone is in perfect condition?
