My wife experienced problems with het Samsung S4 Active and we took it to the Smart care centre in Constantia Kloof on 30 December 2013. The queue for repairs was standing out the door. We were then assisted by Rudolf who informed us that because the phone is a sealed unit, they will have to order a replacement unit. It should not take longer than a week. We can get into the ridiculously long line or come back on Friday 3 January as they will be closed for three days.
The phone was booked in on Friday 3 Jan and today, 20 Jan there is still no parts. If you are lucky to have your phone call answered to you get the same response every time: "Sorry sir the part have not yet arrived". I have left messages for Rudolf to call me back as well as requested management escalation. No one phoned me. I probable will never receive any updates if I don't follow up myself which still means nothing to me.
I did receive a call from customer care to find out if I am happy with the service and I received and to confirm the phone has been repaired to standard... What a JOKE.
Guess the "Smart Care Centre" is not so mart after all and absolutely no CARE...
