I purchased a 32inch samsung tv 5 years ago for 5k and it served me well but recently stopped working. I took it to customer care and they have now said that it's unrepairable because the part it needs is no longer manufactured and said that there was nothing more that they could do. I asked if I should throw it away and they said yes and that I should buy a new one. I cannot accept that I am sold a product for such a price that cannot be repaired if it breaks even if I am willing to pay for it.
