I purchased a Fitbit Flex for Christmas and it lasted only a few days before falling off my wrist whilst on a jog (the purpose of this thing). The gadget is quite cool, but is it worth spending the $120 / R1300.00, if it is probably going to fall off your wrist whilst on a run and unlikely you ever finding it again.
I was very dissapointed that the device's clasp wasnt that strong and that it can come off during exercise. Every time I put my Fitbit on, I would make sure that the clasp was on correctly, as I was afraid this could happen and trust me it can.
Beware that you can loose this device quite easily and you could just be throwing $120 / 1300 ZAR away. I think its more worth your while downloading an app on your phone that can probably give you the same information of steps taken and calories burned.
