Return of funds owed

I bought an iPhone to the store only when I left the store I discovered that it uses a unique SIM card which is not issued on prepaid by MTN. As a result I returned the phone with the hope that they will refund my money immediately. The manager refused to deposit back to my cheque card claiming that it's not allowed. The EFT was the only option available and I was told that the transaction takes up to 14 days. I gave them all the necessary documents on the 30th November 2013. Till today I haven't got my money. Can you assist.
