I purchased a Samsung Ultrabook Series 5 computer at Incredible Connection at the end of June 2013. It started giving problems about a month ago when it would not boot up and gave me only one option in Win8 to refresh the system, which I did. All my loaded programs were gone but it was working again. On 15 December 2013 it again would not start. I contacted Samsung but they would not assist me unless I had my proof of purchase with me. I was on leave in Cape Town. They arranged to help me on 23 December when I was back at home. Nothing happened and a technician called me late on the 23rd. He promised to come on 24 December. Very late in the afternoon he left a message that the HDD he ordered did not arrive. I have had no joy since, no calls nothing.
I am not pleased about yhe way they manage their service warranties. I would like to warn others to stay away from Samsung and not make use of them if you expect service.
