Dishonest, unreliable and non-responsive

We took a photocopier from Toshiba central in 2009. We negotiated with the sales rep for a 3 year contract. When the contract was signed off, it was done so as a 5 year contract. The cost per copy was also not kept and a higher amount was charged each month. We tried resolving this 4 years ago but to no avail. We have been earnestly waiting for the contract to come to an end in January 2014. When we contacted Synlyn rentals 4 days ago who manage the finance agreement (through Toshiba) so we can give the statutory notice period, they informed us the contract came to an end two years ago. This means that we could have pulled out of the contract but were not informed of this by Toshiba Central. It seems they were happy to continue receiving their monthly fees.
We have requested feedback from them but again as was the case 4 years ago, it would seem they are non responsive.
We would not want to have any dealings in future with Toshiba and hope we can even manage to sort out this issue.
