Dont come back to customers

Hi there.
My parents saw an add in the Overberg Burger indicating that Kirby will come to your house and service their Kirby - free of charge. This offer was to expire on 4 Aug. My parents phoned the relevant number on 29 Jul. The lady informed them that they will have to put all the requests from that area together, as to make the trip worth while (which is understandable). The lady informed my parents that she will come back to them soonest regarding setting a date for the visit.

They are still waiting for her to come back to them, and the offer has expired. If there was no other requests from that area, a friendly call to my parents to advise them that the visit is not feasible, would have been very nice. Unfortunately, my parents don't have access to the internet, and therefore I am writing this report on their behalf.

I believe that this level of service is not in-line with the Kirby standards of service - as well all know, Kirby is not a cheap product. If a company puts an add in a paper, they must at least try to deliver on their promises.

An explanation on why nobody came back to them would be very reassuring.
