Android Jelly Bean update 4.1.2 for Galaxy Tab 2

Hi

Earlier this month I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. It runs Android ICS 4.0.4. I have been unable to update it to Jelly Bean 4.1.2. I don't run it on any cellphone network, but use it on my WiFi at home. I have been looking online to find out if there is a Jelly Bean update in South Africa, but have been unsuccessful. Is there something wrong with my tablet or is there no update for South Africa? Please respond.
