Last year I've enrolled with the college to study to become a chef, but due to medical reasons I cannot finish the studies. When i enrolled i enrolled for 2 years and paying R65 000. They then changed the course halfway during the year and said its no longer 2 years for the diploma its now only one year. they then said for the students who enrolled for the 2 years they will let them do their curriculum in the 2nd year. the students who enrolled for the one year certificate were allowed to do the diploma by only paying an additional R5000, this is still far less than the 2 year fee. now when i ask for a refund for the remainder of the studies they decline it. i know of students who received refunds in this regard, but me who is no longer able to study they wont refund.

i hope they actually look at this. i will also take this matter further with the consumer protection board.
