I made an online application in September 2013 for a cousin to study BEd Teaching, upon making a follow up I was told she wasn't accepted for the degree but was accepted for ABET and she should register for ABET in January 2014. She went to Richardsbay Unisa in Jan 2014 for registration but was turned away without a reason. She then went to Durban Unisa and was told that she should have made an application for ABET last year already and was turned away. Had we been told last year that we had to apply for ABET we would have done that because there was still time before application closed, and it's not just my cousin who was turned away there is a lot of students who have been given this wrong information and they came to register for ABET like my cousin and there they were told they should have registered for ABET last year.

Through your incompetent staff, you have wasted time and money for poor students, my cousin come from the outskirts of KwaMhlabuyilangana. The fact that I phoned and was given the wrong information and that when she went to Ricahrdsbay they turned her away without a reason really shows your lack of respect for people and incompetence, shame on you
