Alberton branch has since closed. But Educor, who took over Damelin in 2008 apparently have no record of results obtained by my son in 2006. Damelin claimed that their Business Studies (Matric) course was the equivalent of a matric, but it has been established that the Business Studies course is NOT a matric. Therefore, we were CONNED into parting with R20K for a course that does NOT mean anything as far as an Employer is concerned. Sies Damelin - how many other people have you conned like this. Sies Educor - how could you take over management of a college that is so slack with record keeping. So much for due diligence. I suggest that any other parent or person who got conned by Damelin institute claims against them for fees paid which did not deliver as promised. And Educor were quick to tell me that the matter was closed once they established that they have no Damelin records prior to 2008.
