I decided to go to UNISA Parow Campus to query why I had received an exam notification when it looked like I had competed my degree. I checked MYUnisa & found out that I had in fact gained 30 credits under my BA Gen degree. I then spoke to the Student Advisor at Parow campus who checked my academic record which showed that 3 of my modules had been moved under Non Degree Purposes. This was the 1st that I had heard of this. She moved them back under BA and sent an email to Pretoria to audit my record. She indicated that this was just a formality and my degree would go from "final year" to "complete". I was so very happy. Then, a student advisor from Pretoria Unisa, College of Human Science, emailed me & told me that my 3 modules were returned to NDP as they don't fall under the BA Gen Degree. I mailed her and said that I had inquired if I could do the 3 modules & was told it would be counted. At no point was I told they wouldn't count. They were not locked out as a choice when I registered! She also stated that I had to do 3 MORE modules to complete my degree.
So close but yet so far... What i want is my credits back and to graduate, Someone please help. Please.
