I registered for a subject at UNISA called EUP1501. During the course I found that there was some problems with the online subject because I didn't received all my assignment marks.
On the 11 April 2013, 08:30 in Middelburg, Mpumalanga at the Unisa computer Lab, I wrote my practical exam. Due to "server"/ technical problems I couldn't upload my work. The Lector took a backup of my work (aswell as other students) on a memory stick. He then said that he will make sure that our work will reach the Pretoria office to be uploaded there. When our results came out, it shows that I was "absent" from the exam. I went to the office to sort it out. The Computer Lab have an attendence register where I signed as prove that I did attend the exam. It got in contact with some of the students and the same happend to them.
After I put this under attention my examanation result changed to failed with subminimum (52%). At Unisa you need to have 50% to pass. Again I went to the office. Mybil, on of the ladies working there told me that the backup was taken wrongly (in a zip file).
Now I suppose its easier to fail us than to sort out the problem. As we are a lot who are stuck with the same problem.
