I was advised by Unisa that my new exam centre would be Muizenberg due to the fact that Parow cannot accommodate all the students. I arrived at Muizenberg this morning and at 8:15 we weren't even seated yet. There were no signs up to say in which rows you have to sit. The invigilators told us to sit where ever we want and then handed out the papers. I was worried that we wouldn't be able to start at 8:30am. This causes unnecessary upset when one is already stressed about having to write the exam. I wrote COS261-4 today and it is a very difficult subject where one needs to concentrate. Half way through the exam the invigilator's phone started ringing, she hadn't bothered to turn it off or turn it to silent. This completely disrupted my train of thought and I am very worried that this might cost me some marks, which means I either fail or pass. I put in a lot of effort to study and prepare for this exam and really don't need this kind of distraction to make all my hard work go to waste.
This is really disappointing as I never had any problems when I used to write in Parow.
