When I first wanted to study via correspondence, I thought of Damelin since it's not as intimidating as Unisa, and is a nationally known name. But from the very start I didn't just get bad service, I got no service at all. I filled in the form on the website, but I was not contacted back. When I phoned in to find out more about the course I was interested, I was passed around and put through to at least five different people, no one seemed quite to know what to do with me. When I did some research on the internet on the public's experience on Damelin, I found this website: [URL Removed] and I am very grateful to this person for taking the trouble and expense to try and warn people away from studying there. I am so happy and relieved that I didn't step into this trap, and through my research I found a different correspondence college in South Africa, whose head quarters are in Belville, Cape Town. They are very professional and the service is excellent.
