In summary the business entities lecturer (prof. Locke) unanimously decided to scrap one of the questions from our exam after we had already written it, as some of the students did badly in it. Unfortunately this adversely and unfairly prejudices those students who did well in it and studied hard. I do not feel that it is correct as a university policy to disadvantage students who studied for an exam and did well in favour of those who did not. I have gone to speak to Prof Locke who told me that she is running an autocracy and this is purely her decision. Furthermore, I have tried to speak to the Dean of the school who has not responded. I think it is completely unacceptable that lecturers are allowed to do whatever they wish regardless of how it affects the students.
