I study through Unisa. In Nov 2011 I put my studies on hold due to financial problems. I was assured telephonically that my account was up to date&that I owed R0.00.unfortunately my trust in the word of Unisa employees has put me in huge trouble, I should have only accepted it in writing, but I took a Unisa's employees word for it. At 1st I thought all was okay because after that I didn't receive an account from them for more than a year. Then all of a sudden I started receiving SMSes saying I owe Unisa money. I have contacted them regarding this&have been told if I do not pay my acc by the end of Jan2013 I will be handed over&put on ITC, even though I have told them that Im willing to pay the amount but I can only do so at the end of Feb. This good for nothing company demands the money right now even though it is their acc department that is in the wrong. After I pay this amount I will pursue my studies elsewhere&give the R30K that I would have paid to my new University. Unisa is all about the money¬ the prosperity of its students. Thanks Unisa, for nothing but!!!
