We contracted Dion Mclean (DKM Group) to build a kitchen in our newly renovated home. We paid a 50% deposit up front and a further 20% when he installed the carcasses. He then refused to complete the job and refused to discuss this with us. Also did not respond to requests to return the money taken from us (R 56 000). No reason was given and we have not been able to contact him. At the start he would send messages stating that he would phone and discuss the problem but never did. We are currently in the process of laying a criminal charge. We have had to pay another supplier to finish the job, costing us an extra R60 000 overall.
