Apple Granite contracted to supply and fit granite work surfaces in a kitchen for R18000.00. A deposit of 70% was paid. The granite kept marking/staining. Sealant was applied, by the supplier, to no avail. A new slab was installed after another payment of R2500.00, but problem remained. They then removed the slab, unbeknown to us, with the tap mixer & prep bowl. They refused to return the slab until the balance outstanding was paid. As far as I am concerned the tap mixer & prep bowl were but police would not open a case of. The unpaid R2760.00 was used to pay another installer.
