Complaint / review / scam report
My MX8 pool cleaner and cracked pipes were returned within warranty period and lay at their store for 2 months without notifiying me re repairs. We live 300km away and I went to the store this morning to find out what was going on, since we were in town. Apparently unit was repaired but I'm at fault as I could have phoned them, disregarding the fact that my name and cell no was on sticker on the unit! Alternatively I could have asked family or friends to drive to their shop to enquire, and he even said I need to go to another store if I want the pipes changed! I could not have pipes as they are his stock, even though the pipes have 3yr warranty! He started personal insults after that, when I really lost my cool. Asking him to phone the manager I was informed that he did not have her number and I can wait till she comes in 45min later, yet he eventually found her number... She OK'd everything immediately, no hassle whatsoever. She later phoned and apologised with excuse about them having phoned my brother to let him know my unit was repaired (false), yet it is my name and cell number on the unit. I do not mind an apology after bad service but not, deceit and insults!
