Deon was contracted to install our dream kitchen He came recommended by a friend We wanted custom-made cabinets that looked like detached units rather than standard build-in cabinets We had several requests but after we've paid him 2/3's of the money, early Sept13 we discovered that he had changed the plans but never informed or consulted us on the changes made After confronting him, he said it was his word against ours After negotiations we compromised and manufacturing could go ahead The installation was scheduled to resume early Dec.By mid-Dec some of the cabinet frames (with few shelves) were installed to have something over Christmas We had to hire someone else to build a frame to fit the stove since he said that the manufacturers didn't have time to make the island as requested He promised that installation will commence again 21Jan. When we phoned Deon early Jan, he had the one excuse on top of the other End of Jan became 1st week of Feb and so on and so forth Every week Deon has a new excuse from the spray work wasn't of good quality to power-outages We are now in March and we still don't have a kitchen This is really getting out of hand and is a frustration for our family
