I had given a R55000 contract to Mohmed, the owner of S.A Glass and Alluminium. I had paid him his deposit that he had asked of R15000 to start the manufacture of the windows and doors. Upon completion of the manufacturing of the windows I had paid him another R15000. Upon installation of the windows I had paid him another R15000. At this stage he had manufactured and installed all of the windows and I had given him R45000 in cash. It was a matter of manufacturing and installing the doors and he had asked me to pay him the balance of R10000 rand before he installed in early November 2012, and low and behold it is almost the end of February 2013 and he still hasn't fitted the doors. He refuses to answer his phone and his shop number doesn't go through either. After eventually getting a hold of him after much frustration he says that he will install before the end of February 2013, I'm not holding my breathe though. His workmanship is poor & his word means nothing. His way of conducting business is unethical and poor. Should he not deliver by the end of February then I plan to take legal action against him. I hope for his sake and mine that he completes the job when he said he would.
