Wanting to build a pool by a professional, I shop around, knowing there are a lot of in the business, I've decided on a well known established pool-builder company in Pretoria. They gave me a number of (according to me) a sub contractor, doing all there work. Francois du Toit gave me a good Price and a promise that it will be done in a week. I paid the deposit the day I excepted the quotation. He didn't finished the work in a week, and I gave him another month to complete the pool, during the month I payed him as he asked, he started by not pitching for work, always a sms "problems today, see you tomorrow" etc, by the end of the day (3 MONTHS) I realized that I only owe him R2'000 for the completion of the pool. He left me with a concrete hole in the floor, no Fiberglas, no solar panels, no light in the pool, and a huge heap of graval on my lawn. Do not trust this guy, he seems like a nice guy, but is just another *. Cost me nearly an additional R20'000 to finish the pool.
