Reading a complaint from someone else I felt obliged to say my say as well.
If you are planning to use Ashanti Pools to build your pool you better think AGAIN. They did our pool in Pretoria east and only finished late February 2013. Initial promise was to finish the pool by end of October beginning November 2012. We had to stay in our new house for three moths (with NO pool for swimming - only a hole and conctete in the ground)
It was always difficult to contact the owner as he NEVER answers his phone and he does not respond to any messages. The only time you receive a call from him is when he needs money to continue the work.
The quality of our pool is of a very low standard and we are now planning to re-do the pool (the proper way) this coming winter.
The paving is not level and uneven and the bottom and sides of the pool is uneven. This was pointed out to them but they did not do anything to rectify the problem. I even asked my builder to stop any payments to them as this was his subcontractor. Unfortunately for us all payments to them were already made when we requested this. We learned the "HARD WAY". Please safe yourself time and money and think TWICE before using them.
