This company's workmanship is inferior. We contracted the owner of the company, Stephen Makhwathana, to construct a loft room. Our existing roof was so damaged by them that for 2 1/2 months we had excessive leaking every time it rained. Our ceilings are ruined in the lounge, dining room and kitchen. In spite of repeated promises to fix the roof, this was never done, resulting in us having to get another contractor to work for three full days to repair the damage. The loft room has an unusable uneven floor, mis-matched windows, and is structurally unsound (support beams in the roof were cut causing our kitchen ceiling to sag). Ceilings in the loft room were put in before the roof was covered, causing water damage. Mr Makhwathana is extremely rude and aggressive. He has no idea about customer service. The only time he communicated with us was when he wanted more money. He did not supervise the building process on site. He refuses to admit that his work is inferior. He is now refusing to finish the project unless we give him more money (which according to the contract we don't have to do). He is therefore in breach of contract.
