We approached Stone Construction in November 2013 and dealt with Sara who promptly came out to give us a quote on building a double garage and various other renovations needed to our cottage in Kloof. We received a quote about 10 days later after being promised the quote within 2-3 days. We were happy and surprised at the quote as Stone had managed to come in way under another two quotes received in the interim. As they are a local company who advertise extensively in local press, have an excellent website, are registered with the NHRBC we decided to support their business. We contacted Sara and left numerous messages on her cell and email but received no response. We then contacted the other Rep Nicole early in December who told us that Sara was no longer with Stone Construction. We requested a meeting to re-quote as we wanted to start with the internal renovations in January and set up a meeting with Nicole. She did not arrive and when we finally did speak to her she told us she was ill and asked if we could re-schedule, which we did only to be let down again. Meeting was again set for 7 Jan, but we have cancelled after reading other reports on Hello Peter. Can they be trusted?
