I purchased anold house in 2011 and was registered in my name in February 2012. I need to repair the entire house, so a guy by the name of Hennie Jacobs, volunteered to assist me to fix the house, which i agreed as his main line of work is Kitchens but he also has a building team who does everything else other than kitchens. He started on the house repairs etc. on the 13th February 2012. He actually agreed to help me in Nov 2011 and proceeded to ask me for a deposit for the kitchen, He asked for R30 000-00 to be able to purchase the goods. He then started asking me for money (No contract was signed) for the kicthen again in March 2012, so i paid him another R20 000-00 etc. Well i eventually moved in to the house after five months of un-finished renovations from Mr. Jacobs and NO kitchen. It is now six months later and i still do not have a kitchen and he has spent the money but still doing business with other people, taking their money and not finishing the job. He is " from Peter to pay Paul". I am a single parent and have worked hard for my money, then this comes along and steals my money. I dont have money to do the kicthen.
