We got them to come and look at our damp problem in 2 of our bedrooms, they advised us that the problem was due to water coming in underneath our house and this was what was causing our newly erected wooden floors to get damaged. They quoted us for doing the job, giving us a 5 year guarantee! We paid the agreed 50% deposit and then the balance on completion of the job. It rained heavily over the weekend and now both bedrooms are completely wet again due to the rain. When we called Dampproof about this, their attitude was now that the problem is on the outside of the house. They told us what the problem was, we paid to have the problem fixed and now they are refusing to resolve the matter or to even take our phone calls, how professional is that of them? We then threatened legal action and they now say they will send us a report, what good is a report when the problem is not solved and we cannot re do our wooden floors in the meantime. Service has been horrendous from them and we are very disappointed in their lack of returning calls, very unprofessional!
