On Friday at approx. 1:20 pm I went to buy some electrical cord at Concorde Electrical Wholesale, a small shop situated opposite the Phoenix Plaza. The shop had a lot of customers standing and waiting for service.
The staff behind the counter seemed uninterested in serving customers except for one foreign Black muscular staff member who was serving one black customer for an excessive and unrealistically long time. when I asked him if he was going to be long, he almost came to assault me and shouted at me. Then the manager stepped in and apologized for the Staff member's behaviour. Not accepted, I required an apology from the offending staff member.
On Monday, I went to Concorde Electrical to see Neville Naidoo, the owner. I explained to him all what had transpired on Friday afternoon at his shop. His reply to me was " apparently you were impatient, anyway the guy does not work on Mondays, when he comes tomorrow I will ask him his side of the story"
Did not even take my phone number.
Is he a businessman or just another plain lucky chancer who sits behind his till the whole day busy counting his stash?
A customer has been verbally abused and threatened but he wants to play judge!!!
