Following the passing of Mrs Ward in November 2012, we requested Belvedere to sell the property at Wilgeheuwel. A new buyer moved in in February 2013 and advised us that he made payment in full on the 14 February 2013. Todate this has not been paid over to us. Many many written and verbal promises have been made (a file of correspondence) - all empty. Even our lawyers correspondence has been ignored. We have received 2 months occupational rent - this has now even been discontinued. This seems to be the business practice of the Belvedere Group - it is frustrating, disappointed and unethical. Given that they are in the business of providing safe havens for people in their senior years, it is also immoral. Thankfully Mrs Ward has been spared the ire of dealing with this unethical way of doing business.
