Is this called efficient business?
At Leather Gallery South Coast Mall I chose a two-seater for approximately R17.000, 00. There was no chance to pay and take the model from the premises. They would order this model and requested me to make a down payment in advance. I refused to pay for something I didn't't receive. After a week I was informed the sofa had arrived.
I presented my Capitec credit card for payment and was informed that I could only get the sofa after they saw the money in their account and I should come back next week to collect the item.
Not only did they not trust me, the customer, but also my bank was refused. I always thought if the transfer per credit card is approved by the bank the transaction was safe.
What if I paid in advance and when fetching the sofa the branch was closed and no longer existed?
