I purchased Franco Belge ETNA 10 Fire Place from MacD Cape Town in April 2013 - it was installed and after approximately 3 weeks of usage, the door broke off its hinge. I have had numerous calls and emails with Selwyn Richards who has assured me the problem is being addressed and after many complaints, eventually sent a team to collect the door to make an interim plan to weld the hinge until the parts arrived. He assured me that I could have to interim door back within a week - it is now almost 2 weeks since it was supposed to be back and I have heard nothing. This fire place cost more than R20k and MacD came highly recommended. Based on this I would advise you to stay well away.
