In February 2012 Universal Roofing were appointed to do extensive and costly repairs to our home waterproofing. We discovered 8 weeks ago that one ares of the roof/window was starting to crumble, the lintel has rotted as a result of the damp collecting and poor job done. The window is now rusting and the surrounding woodwork in the window sill has lifted.
I sent three emails to universal roofing and received no response. I called the office twice till someone eventually came out to check the job (this was over 4 weeks ago), who knows what they did - I received no feedback and no-one repaired anything - every day the window/lintel looks worse. It is a matter of time till it all crumbles!!
I called AGAIN this week and have had no response. I am really frustrated and every time I drive past a Universal Roofing street pole poster I want to tell the world not to use them! The after sales service is shocking and I will never ever recommend them to anyone!
Not only is their work poor, they are pricey and don't care about honouring their guarantees!
