We had a building contractor show up on our door step. Says he was called out, but to date he has given no proof of who called him out to the site.
He went through our building and listed a few issues with plumbing that he could sort out.
He refused to give quotes as stated he cannot state the amount until he opens each toilet etc, and states that work will be beneficial and not to expensive to sort out.
We eventually terminated his work mid way through, as invoices just kept running in and we ended paying over R100, 000 for what he called minor work.
His mark-ups/pricing are outrageous, and labour charges just do not tie back to work done.
Thus explains as to why he does not give quotes, as customers would take him on.
He call himself honest, but he is everything but.
We now have comebacks on work done, and have to get another plumber in to fix what was done.
