On Wednesday the 21st August 13 we experienced a power failure at home we call AB Electrical on 073330523 who advertises in our local news paper The Southern Courier. A guy by the name of John came out we explained to him the power keeps tripping, he told us that we must replace the earth leakage and the main switch and the CB that goes to the out building he proceeded to make a temporary connection so we could have electricity for the night and he would return in the morning he ask for a deposit of R2500-00 and he will collect the balance of R2500-00 when completed the work. When John completed the work he demanded R5700-00 a increase of R700-00, we paid him, 2 hours later the lights still kept tripping we called him back he said the distribution board must be replaced at a cost of R30 000-00. He came out the following day told him we had no hot water he sent out a plumber and he said no labour charge as he charged us already the plumber came out and asked for R1100-00 I called John and put the phone on speaker phone as he said no charge now we were faced with a plumbers bill from the same company John told Solomon the plumber to do the work and only bill for the element
