SO... I paid upfront, and after a two day wait for an appointment to be made, I requested a refund... AND IT IS BEING REFUSED! I am being told that Gido is still prepared to come and perform the inspection for which I have paid. But I have elected NOT to use their service, as is my right as a consumer. They seem to think they can coerce me into using their service by refusing to return my money. Shocking. Especially as I was at no stage informed that the money I had paid was non-refundable.
