For 5 months I have faced endless from this individual to complete a simple kitchen overhaul. For weeks I washed dishes in buckets on lawn.
He 'sold' me on reasonable rates/quote & promises of rapid completion. He 'can' do the work; he suckered me into paying upfront by being extremely efficient & prompt at first; but the moment he had cash, he began extorting more & more money to get done; every day he promises to come, but ultimately never arrives. Unfinished work & purchased hardware amounts to thousands of Rands.
I have dealt with hundreds of people in business, but none so thoroughly without conscience or shame for blatant lying. Weekly, he admits he, apologises & swears he's turned over a new leaf; but the continue.
Tiles, grout, sealants, painting... you name it, it is left unfinished. Plumbing & electrics a question mark.
Never ever use this character - never ever employ him for anything. Don't trust a word he says. Don't be drawn in by his sob stories of a life in disarray & needy dependents; it's in disarray for a good reason - & yours will be too if you fall for it. I cannot emphasise enough how disappointed you will be if you don't heed my advice
