I bought a Dell Inspiron 1564 laptop towards the end of 2010. I now need to replace the battery but Dell South Africa tells me they can't help me since the product has been discontinued. How on earth can't they provide after-sales support on a product less than three years after selling it to me??? Dell in Johannesburg referred me to a supplier that sells refurbished batteries but I'm in Cape Town. Also, I don't want a refurbished battery. If this forces me to buy another laptop, it certainly won't be a Dell!!
