Do not want to cancel my subscription

I had been receiving a lot of sms's from a certain number. I then, by mistake, clicked on the link in the sms. it took me to a page which activated my subsciption. I received an sms that my subscription has been activated however if I want to opt out I can call 011 955 8141. I called the number and they told me that they would deativate me and I would receive an sms confirming this. The person I spoke to told me that she did not know how long it would take, and I would be charged R7 per day until they deactivate me. About 4 hours later, I had not received the deactivation sms and I called again. I spoke to Kendra and told me that she has sent my request through again. She confirmed she did not know when the subscription would be deactivated. I find it appalling that no one would know how long it takes for my subscription to be deactivated and this company will just continue to charge me R7 per day for this.
