Terrible Service from NETSURIT – Johannesburg

I purchased a brand new DELL Latitude E6540, which was delivered on Tuesday Nov 11 2013 at 17h30. Approx. TWO hours later I switched it on. The LCD display was dark. Less than 24 hours after delivery I called Candice the sale's lady. She advised me to call DELL technical support. DELL technical support emailed me a troubleshooting guide. I followed the instructions (quite capably as I am a software engineer), but nothing could be done as the display remained dark. I asked DELL for this device to be swapped with a brand new one because this one was clearly defective. DELL refused. So I called Candice and asked her for a refund on the DELL. She told me that I'll have to speak to her manager Robert, who was in training. I left many messages for Robert to call me, but he still has not returned my calls. On Nov 18 2013, I went to NetsurIT's premises to see Robert. Once again Robert was in training. I asked for Candice. She did not pitch up but her colleague Clinton pitched up. I returned the DELL to NetsurIT (Clinton) at approx 10am Nov 18 2013, that is about 6 days and 21 hours after I received the DELL.
