Open letter to the Chief Executive Officer of Dell Computers
Dear Sir
Request for help with broken Dell computer: Dell Technical Support:872342556
I bought a Dell XPS laptop in December, one of your more expensive machines with a solid state hard drive - one the bets machines on the market I was told with impeccable back up services.
o On Tuesday, 20 February 2013 the Dell laptop could not switch on.
o On Wednesday, 21 February 2013 I phone the Dell call centre, which is managed from India.
o The schedule repairs on Thursday, 22 February 2013 on site. The Dell call centre operator promised that the work will be done first thing on Friday morning - he give me no choice but to accept.
o However, due to the non availability of parts, it was rescheduled to Friday, 23 February 2013.
o On Friday, 23 November 2013 nobody arrived and nobody called me.
o I phoned the Dell call centre once again and requested a replacement computer which was denied.
o Various phone calls followed during the week of 25 February 2013 which resulted in the required Dell parts arriving, 28 February 2013, however nobody could tell me exactly where it arrived - I was just told it arrived.
