I purchased a lexmark prevail pro 707 printer on the 24/01/2011 from the makro, pietermaritzburg store with a five year guarantee. firstly i tried on several occassions to contact the helpline and to avail i was unsuccessful, finally on my last try i did speak to someone from the call centre and then my call cut off. on the 07/10/2013 i received an email from lexmark and then tried to contact them once again via telephone but still was unsuccessfull. i then sent an email to them on the 08/10/2013 explaining the problems with my printer to which i received reply to call back and once again i could not get hold of them via the telephone. i then sent another email stating the incompetance of the call centre. on the 09/10/2013 i received a reply mail to state acknowledgement of my mail and that it has been forwarded to a technican for validation. to date i have still not received any response from them. i find this to be unacceptable as my purchase of this printer was solely for the five year guarantee which they have not honoured to me.
