My laptop's VGA card stopped working just outside the warranty period of 1 year. I called the service department at acer and they arranged to collect my machine via a courier. The collection, transport and repair was carried out within 4 days free of charge. The service was impressive given that the machine was actually out of warranty and that they couriered it to JHB and back to CT in 4 days. Very impressed with the service all round.
They cleaned, upgraded the software, replaced the motherboard and tested the laptop, all for free.
