ACER have no clue and to there custome

July 2013 I call Acer as I have lost my BIOS Password but manage to get my machine working again. 23/08/13 I log a call 7475781S with Acer to collect my machine and to reset the BIOS password. 26/08/13 they confirm they have my machine. 29/08/13 I receive a quote saying my mother board and hard drive are faulty and need to be replaced at cost of - R 9000. I call to get some clarity saying there was nothing wrong with the machine when it was sent in. I eventually speak to a manager who tells me "Yes Mr Smith, we have reset you password and ran a test on your machine and the results were that there is a fault on the mother board and bad sectors on the hard drive" I ask for more clarity on the nature of the fault and I am told he does not have detail but will have them run the test again so as to confirm. 13:41 29/08/13 I am CC'ed in an email to RGS to confirm they have been given instruction to rerun the test. 30/08/13 I call to find out the status but I am told they are still awaiting the results. 17:01 30/08/2013 I receive an email telling me they are unable to test my machine as they need the BIOS password. - YOU ARE A LYING BUNCH OF CLOWNS. I WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY AN ACER
