Selling defective items

On Friday 5 July I bought a Coby TV 32'. I loaded this into my car that was right in front of the building and took it home. I bought this as a present so on Saturday I took it to the recipient. We opened the box and plugged the TV in and it was not working. I packed it back and took it back to Esquire on Tuesday. After looking at the TV I was told that the box is damaged and that shows that I damaged the TV, if not I would not have accepted the damaged box! Well that was the best, I have never in my life checked a box neither have I had any problems refusing a damaged box, not one like that, one can hardly see the damage... and to be told what I would have done...

Point is it was send to the supplier and I was told that it can not be repaired, for one a new item should work, not after repairs and then to be told it can not be repaired is wrong, Mr Suliman should know that when he speaks to people.
