Mercedes Benz Rosebank have had my car the majority of this year (2013) my car went after in for a MAJOR service in dec/jan which cost R27, 000 (covered by motorplan) I then went overseas the last week of january and on my return on 5th Feb 2013 my car would not start, Mercedes-Benz Rosebank then had my car until the 5th of April trying to fix it with various excuses as to why there were so many delays... and after driving it properly for the first time on the 8th of April the clutch went, plus the bonnet clip was broken and some other issues which are clearly gross negligence. Additionally while they had my car the motorplan expired and they now want to charge me R7000 labour even though Mercedez Benz South Africa themselves will cover the cost of the Part. This is shocking considering this is supposed to be a luxury brand. Appalling really!!! I will be taking this to the Motor industry ombudsman of South Africa as well as Consumer watch!
