Isn't it strange - when your car is well serviced by Merc, you receive 100 sms and emails requesting feedback. But should they fail to impress - NO FOLLOW UP! I am hugely disappointed by Mercedez Benz. I have a service plan (which I was unaware covered exhausts - I suppose ignorance is no excuse, but perhaps the plan could have been explained more thoroughly to me??) I had a hole in my exhaust early in the year, and fixed it at a local exhaust company, only to be told at my service later in the year, that this was in fact covered by the plan, so on Wed 17 April I took my car in to have the exhaust seen to. Only then to be told that they would not cover the repairs due to my having sought help elsewhere. They had "no goodwill" to quote the service provider. Had I known it was covered, I would never have paid for a service elsewhere, also I would have liked to have been informed earlier of their refusal to do the job. In the end I spent from 7am-2h30pm without a car - for nothing. And not even an apology. I am VERY unimpressed.
